Wine:

Powerful and rich, the 2020 red Rioja Anza Diego Magana is a wine built for years of aging. It already shows all the attributes of its success: pure and abundant flavors of fruit, with notes of blackberry, blueberry, and spices, a rich structure, velvety tannins, and a long sapid finish. This complex and structured wine will evolve very well over a decade, ideal for grilled meats, lamb chops or stewed meats. Rated 93/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vines aged 60 years at an altitude of 560-620 meters. Vinification by plot of land in vats of 4000 liters, in open barrels of 500 liters or in steel vats of 1000 liters. Color:

Red of beautiful intensity, with purple nuances.

Nose:

Pure and generous with beautiful aromas of red fruits, blackberry and blueberry underlined by a spicy touch.

Serve at 16 to 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Roasted lamb chop, beef steak with green pepper sauce, tapas, Spanish cold cuts.
