Château rated 1 star in the Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2024 (RVF)

Wine:

The 2021 red Vin de France Tinus Rouge d'une Nuit is crafted using a unique technique: a rosé press blended overnight with a marc of old Grenache vines. Raised in tanks to preserve its full fruitiness, this red is both ingenious and surprising, unlike any other. It offers notes of fresh fruits and white flowers within a crisp and juicy framework. A pure fruit-forward red to enjoy without reservation, especially at this price!

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, the juices from the Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon rosés were drawn off from the presses and left overnight on the old Grenache pomace before being drawn off into vats.
Matured in stainless steel vats to preserve the purity of the fruit.

The estate chose to fill this wine with a Stelvin screw cap, preserving its freshness and eliminating any cork taint.

Color:

Bright red of medium intensity.

Aromas of fresh fruit with notes of white flowers.

Palate:

Intense and flavorful with mature fruit, this cuvée offers fine tannins and fresh, crisp juice.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Grilled meats, white and red meats with herbs.

From now until 2026.

An undisputed authority in the Mâconnais region and hailed by the French press as "the greatest Chardonnay winemaker in the world," Jean-Marie Guffens consistently surpasses all expectations. His white wines rival those from the most prestigious Burgundian estates, and enthusiasts everywhere recognize the exceptional quality of his cuvées.

Always driven to explore new horizons, Guffens demonstrates his skill by crafting unique wines in all three colors. The Tinus Collection was born at Château des Tourettes, the Luberon estate of Jean-Marie and Maine Guffens, situated on limestone-rich terroirs at an altitude of 400 meters.
