Wine:

The 2018 Barbaresco reveals an understated elegance, with enticing aromas of morello cherry, red berries, spices, balsamic hints, and fine wood. Its fresh, approachable style carries seamlessly into a balanced palate that combines power and finesse with remarkable ease. Vinification:

Hand harvested in 20 kg baskets. Maceration for 62 days in open wooden vats. Aged 21 months in Austrian and Slovenian oak barrels, then one month in stainless steel tanks, followed by 17 months in bottle.

Color:

Intense garnet red.

Nose:

Beautiful red fruit aromas with a morello cherry edge, notes of cinnamon, candied orange, balsamic and a hint of chocolate.

Palate:

Powerful and supple at the same time, this wine has a lovely tannic structure underpinned by fine balance.
