Wine:

Fresh, elegant, and easy to drink, the 2021 Red Chassagne-Montrachet is a rare gem that has been traditionally aged in barrels for 16 months. This refined vintage has bursting fruity flavors, featuring notes of wild strawberries, blueberries, rose petals, and almond. Smooth and delicate, with silky tannins, it presents a beautifully balanced structure, with some acidity and gentle hints of vanilla. This exquisite wine is ready to enjoy now but can also be cellared for another 3 to 5 years, or even longer.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, completely destemmed, macerated in open vats for 23 days. Regular punching down and pumping over.
Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.

A bright, intense red.

Nose:

Aromas of wild strawberries and blueberries punctuated by hints of rose and almond.

Palate:

Smooth and delicate with ripe flavors of fruit, this cuvée invites you to indulge in its balanced structure and silky tannins.

With a strong identity, limited production, and top-notch vineyards, the winery delivers wines shaped by experience and intuition. Ludivine Griveau, who also manages the Hospices de Beaune, brings her high standards to this project, ensuring every detail is expertly handled.
