AWARDS

A wine rated 93/100 by our Committee!

Wine:

From the finest slopes of Chavanay and old vines, the 2022 red Saint-Joseph Côte Granits delivers beautiful aromas of black fruits and wild blackberry jam, with a ripe and concentrated profile. The palate confirms this richness, with 18 months of barrel aging still prominent, a fleshy texture, and present yet balanced tannins, accompanied by peppery, toasted, and licorice flavors. This wine deserves to be aged for at least a few years and will be enjoyed for 8 years or more. Decanting and a côte de bœuf are a must! Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, totally de-stemmed, vatted for 3 weeks in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, regularly pumped over, aged for 18 months in oak barrels.
