Wine:

The 2008 White Domaine Disznoko Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos  is an extraordinary wine, awarded 96/100 by Parker. From a year rich in flavor and heavily botrytized grapes, it offers a complex bouquet of oriental spices. Opulent yet remarkably fresh, this sweet wine features a silky texture and vibrant notes of orange marmalade, apricot, and pineapple, with exceptional length on the palate. Serve chilled alongside a citrus salad or lemon meringue tart for a perfect pairing.

Vinification:

Hand harvested from botrytized grapes. Manual sorting, grain by grain during 3 to 4 successive passages. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 30 months in oak barrels, 25% of which are new. Bottled in April 2012.

Residual sugar : 147g/L - Vin Doux Naturel.

Aromas of oriental spices mixed with notes of citrus, pineapple, apricot and orange marmalade.

Palate:

Opulent and elegant, this wine unfolds a fresh and crisp palate with a long and tasty persistence.
