Wine:

The 2021 Santa Rita Hills Radian Vineyard Pinot Noir is a masterful blend of four meticulously selected parcels, showcasing the essence of a great Pinot Noir. Its complex bouquet is beautifully orchestrated with notes of flowers, black cherry, ripe fruits, and dried strawberry, accented by hints of rosemary and a subtle smokiness. The structure is well-defined, with chewy texture, energetic tannins, and impressive density. This wine is broad, fresh, and promises excellent aging potential. Rated 97/100 by both Antonio Galloni and Jeb Dunnuck.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vines aged 14 years. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 90% neutral and 10% new.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing:

Herb-crusted prime rib, rack of lamb with thyme blossom, gibelotte rabbit, roast guinea fowl with chanterelles.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2031, and even longer for enthusiasts.
