Wine:

From a terroir of pebbles, flint and green clay, the 2003 sweet white Vouvray Le Mont offers a superb freshness. The complex, honeyed, floral notes also offer hints of camphor and yellow peach. The well-balanced structure, without excess, displays all the suavity and delicate acidity of chenin, in a highly digestible whole. Enjoy with foie gras toast or mild blue-veined cheeses. The Committee's favorite.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, 50% of the grapes are vinified and matured in vats, the other half in demi muids. Aged 6 months. Residual sugar: 70g/l.

Color:

Bright gold with buttercup highlights.

Nose:

Complex, with floral, yellow peach and honeyed notes.

Palate:

It's a well-balanced wine, without excess, with a smooth profile and fine acidity, revealing a highly digestible wine.
