Wine:

A Selection Committee favorite, rated 93/100, the 2022 White Lirac La Reine des Bois perfectly captures the essence of the southern Rhône Valley. White peach and delicate floral notes shine through in this fresh, crystalline, and well-balanced wine. Its clean, refined structure, lifted by vibrant freshness, is enhanced by the presence of Clairette, with lovely mineral bitterness on the finish. This is a gastronomic wine, ideal for pairing with freshwater fish, goat cheese, or even as an aperitif—a true testament to the quality of its aging.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. De-stemming, crushing and skin maceration. Aged 90% in vats and 10% in barrels.

Bright, clear golden yellow.

Nose:

Pure, crystalline with white peach aromas on a fresh whole.

Palate:

With a classic Rhône Valley style, the presence of Clairette brings lovely minerality and invigorating freshness, complemented by subtle, well-integrated aging.

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Grilled sardines in lemon oil, sea bream with fennel, haddock and pan-fried sun vegetables.
