Wine:

With great intensity, the 2021 Red Lirac La Reine des Bois is a beautifully concentrated wine, built around ripe, complex layers of black fruit and spice. The perfectly integrated aging elevates the wine, allowing each grape variety—Grenache, Syrah, and a hint of Mourvèdre—to shine. Generous and dense, this is a serious yet charming red with smooth, well-rounded tannins. A great southern red with the potential to age for 10 years. An essential from the region, rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. De-stemming and crushing. Vinification with indigenous yeasts. Aged 85% in vats and 15% in barrels.

Color:

Intense, dark red with carmine undertones.

Nose:

Concentrated aromas of black fruits, blackberry and blackcurrant underlined by a spicy background.

Palate:

The palate opens with impressive density, offering a refined texture and smooth tannins that evolve toward a velvety finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
