Wine:

The 2022 Red Lirac has everything to please! This juicy, well-balanced wine opens with charming floral notes, particularly peony, and ripe stone fruits, with a hint of pepper adding a touch of freshness. The palate is rich and generous, carrying through those southern flavors with a delicious hint of syrupy cherries. A perfect choice to pair with grilled or slow-cooked meats. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification 100% in concrete vats. Aged 57% in vats, 28% in foudre, 12% in barrels and 3% in demi-muids.

Bright carmine red.

Nose:

Intensely floral with notes of peony, intertwined with hints of stone fruits, spices, and a touch of pepper.

Palate:

The wine is generous and layered, offering a juicy texture and great depth, with an overall sense of balance and harmony.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Sweet-spiced duck breast, fricassee of chanterelles and shallots, snacked beef steak and reduced jus.
