Wine:

A blend of local grape varieties planted on schist soils, the 2021 Red Douro Drink Me bursts with a multitude of red berry flavors. This light, refined, and full-bodied red wine offers harmonious enjoyment and is best enjoyed young with all types of cuisine. A full-flavored red that delivers immediate pleasure! Unbeatable at this price level.

Vinification:

Hand harvested in September. Grapes destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Skin contact maceration for 10 to 15 days. Elaboration during 6 months in 15% barrels and 85% in stainless steel tanks.

Color:

Intense red with garnet highlights.

Nose:

Pure, with aromas of red berries underlined by floral notes and a hint of balsamic.

Palate:

A light, delicate, fleshy palate, with coated tannins on this accessible, efficient wine.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
