Château Ollieux-Romanis - Corbières - La Coumbe - Rouge - 2021

Wine:

The 2021 Red Corbières La Coumbe combines power and finesse, with beautiful smoky, licorice and black fruit notes. These aromas are articulated around juicy, overflowing fruit, with very delicate, almost velvety tannins. A remarkable bottle in terms of value for money, which can be aged for another 5 years without any problem.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, vines aged from 15 to 50 years with a density of 4000 vines/ha and a yield of 45 hl/ha, sandy and clay-limestone soil, whole-grain maceration, short 8-day vatting period, aged in vats.

Color:

Intense, brilliant red.

Nose:

Scents of liquorice and smoky notes.

Palate:

Concentrated and harmonious, this full-bodied wine reveals delicate, almost velvety tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Entrecote, duck aiguillette with figs, grilled meats, stuffed tomatoes.

From now until 2028
