Wine:

Precise and elegantly aged, the 2022 White Mâcon-La Roche Vineuse opens with a bright, mineral-driven nose, accented by a hint of almond syrup, free from any overt oak influence. Its extended aging on lees has preserved both depth and richness, while the palate showcases a refined chalky texture, seamlessly integrated into a full, ripe, and subtly zesty structure. Purity, freshness, and balance define this superb wine, which will evolve beautifully over the next 5 to 8 years. Rated 93+/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Direct pressing of whole grapes, very light settling. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. Aged for 15 months. Light filtration before bottling. No fining.

Bright light gold.

Nose:

Beautifully bright minerality with hints of almond syrup, free from any oak influence.

Palate:

Crisp and subtly zesty, with ripe citrus and stone fruit, this wine showcases a refined chalky texture, perfectly balanced between purity, freshness, and depth.
