Wine:

The 2022 red Bourgueil Petit Mont offers a marvelous price-enjoyment ratio and stands as one of the Loire Valley's hidden treasures. Its nose reveals highly intense fruit, ripe yet fresh, with a graphite and infused black fruit character. The palate has personality – it's a robust, juicy, and full-bodied Cabernet, with present tannins ensuring it can age gracefully for 5 to 7 years without any issue! A Committee Favorite rated 93/100.

Vinification:

Mechanically harvested, fermented for 3 to 4 weeks and aged in vats for 4 to 5 months before bottling.

Certified organic wine.

Color:

Almost black red with slight carmine highlights, brilliant.

Nose:

Beautifully intense fruit, both ripe and fresh, with graphite and black fruit flavors.

Palate:

This cuvée is full of character, with full-bodied, juicy juices and present tannins that guarantee good cellaring!

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Roast beef, rack of lamb or small leg of suckling lamb from the Pyrenees, veal with chanterelles, monkfish with red wine.
