Situated on the beautiful limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion, Berliquet is a gem cherished by enthusiasts for its refinement and subtle concentration. Acquired in 2017 by the Wertheimer family (owners of Château Canon, a Premier Grand Cru Classé B and close neighbor, as well as Rauzan-Ségla in Margaux), the vineyard is now managed by the exceptional teams behind these prestigious estates.
Already revitalized by its previous owners, this Grand Cru Classé enjoys renewed affection from connoisseurs who see in this label an opportunity to flirt with the greats without breaking the bank.
The 2023 vintage confirms its upward trajectory, enhanced by a new winery. Rated 93-95/100 by Parker and 94/100 by Olivier Poussier, the cru displays a beautiful freshness, driven by the precise rigor of its Cabernet and the saline tension of its limestone soils. With a long finish, this wine confirms its irresistible ascent. No hesitation needed.
