Le Prieuré de Saint-Jean de Bébian is back with a vengeance! Nestled in prime terroirs with a mosaic of soils, diverse plots, exposures, and microclimates, this iconic Languedoc estate has been evolving since 2015.

Crucial to the rise of Languedoc's renowned reds, the estate has carved out an extraordinary path, producing deep, expansive, and balanced wines. These wines were among the first to define the classic style of the region, thanks to exceptional plant material sourced from the best: Syrahs from Chave, Grenaches from Rayas, and Mourvèdres from Tempier.

Benoît Pontenier, now at the helm, crafts wines that are patiently aged, minimally manipulated, and exceptionally pure, with a refreshing and silky quality. The reds, especially, vinified with some whole clusters and aged mainly in large barrels, are floral, intense, and delicate.
