Wine:

A faithful interpreter of Mediterranean terroir, the 2020 Red Les Grands Carmes PGI Pays des Bouches-du-Rhône renews its success in this fine vintage. Produced from vines over 50 years old on limestone scree slopes, and aged in wood for almost two years, it delivers a powerful, intense, always fresh and nuanced wine, with a hint of the south, between garrigue and olive. A fine bottle to keep a little longer or enjoy with a shoulder of lamb confit.

Vinification:

Hand harvested and destemmed, aged on fine lees for 14 months in small oak barrels.

Color:

Deep ruby.

Nose:

Subtle fruit aromas supported by notes of garrigue and olives.

Palate:

Fresh and intense, this wine has fine, distinctive and deep tannins

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.
