Crafted from a warm, sun-drenched vintage that produced ripe, concentrated grapes, the 2012 Vega Sicilia Unico Red Ribera del Duero is a true masterpiece. Its decade of cellar aging has allowed the wine’s robust structure to achieve remarkable refinement. The aromas are a luxurious tapestry of black fruit, smoky notes, cured meat, and hints of exotic spices and fine wood. Baroque in style, it balances power and elegance, already delivering remarkable complexity while promising excellent ageing potential. This wine holds a singular place among the world's finest, earning an impressive 96/100 from Parker.

Vinification:

Hand harvested from 36 year old vines. Aged in 225 liter French and American oak barrels and 220 hectoliter tuns. Bottled in June 2018 after nearly 10 years of aging giving it one of the longest aging processes in the world.

Ripe and intoxicating with beautiful aromas of crushed black fruits underlined by a spicy touch. A delicate woody taste with a hint of mint.
