The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Christine Vernay, a leading figure of Côte-Rôtie, oversees one of France’s most celebrated estates. Often compared to the greatest Grands Crus of Burgundy and Bordeaux, her wines have earned a coveted 3-star rating in The RVF Guide.

Organically farmed and crafted from exceptional hillside terroirs, her wines exemplify elegance and finesse. The reds are refined and expressive, with remarkable depth and complexity, while retaining freshness and balance. The whites are equally remarkable, offering precise structure, vibrant energy, and a clean, focused profile. These wines set the standard for the region, combining exceptional purity with outstanding aging potential.
Wine Sourced from prime terroirs in the heart and southern part of the appellation, the 2022 Côte-Rôtie Blonde du Seigneur is a benchmark for refined, aromatic Syrah. Year after year, it remains one of the most sought-after Côte-Rôties, celebrated for its consistent excellence. This vintage showcases fine tannins, a silky texture, and deep, complex aromas, all harmonized with subtle oak notes that complement the wine's structure. Its power is balanced with elegance, making it a standout with exceptional aging potential.
Vinification Hand-harvested, vinified for 3 to 4 weeks in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, then aged for 18 months in barrels.
