This first-rate Saint-Estephe, located in a secluded spot on the banks of the Gironde, offers unbeatable value for money, seducing wine lovers with its wonderfully fragrant and charming wines.
On each vintage, and with great regularity, the château brings forward all the complexity and beauty of the clay-limestone terroir that is so particular to Saint-Estephe. The 2018 Red Saint-Estèphe Château Ormes de Pez is the perfect example of what makes Medoc such a great terroir. Hailed as “the most complete vintage in the estate’s recent history” according to Bettane+Desseauve, who rated it 17/20 and praised it for its quality and voluptuousness. Combining black fruits, intensity and power with a nice concentration and freshness, this perfect wine ends with a long and intense finish. A beautiful cuvée, rated 90-92/100 by Parker. |
