Carried by beautifully ripe Mourvèdre, the 2023 Bandol Rosé delivers wonderfully savoury fruit flavours, lifted by notes of white pepper and juicy red berries. Bright and full of life, it shows impressive depth and finesse, with a succulent, spice-filled core. With its bold personality, this rosé is built to age, developing even more saline and spicy complexity over time. But it’s already a pleasure to enjoy now, especially alongside grilled fish or white meats. Without question, this is one of the brightest stars among Mediterranean rosés. Aged with finesse in a mix of stainless steel, oak, and concrete, the 2023 white Bandol is a bright, beautifully complex wine. It opens with delicate notes of anise and acacia blossom, carried by a graceful and refined structure. Lifted by fine, subtle bitterness and generous, mouthwatering fruit, this white is all about freshness, purity, and balance. Made predominantly from Mourvèdre (85%), the 2021 red Bandol channels all the power of Terrebrune’s limestone soils. Concentrated and ripe, it’s driven by vibrant aromas of graphite, liquorice, and wildflowers, with refined hints of bay leaf and wild blackberry on the nose. Effortlessly elegant, it combines density and juiciness with finesse, supported by beautifully judged ageing that adds subtle spice to the oak influence. The tannins are already remarkably smooth, giving the wine a velvety texture and immediate appeal. This is a sophisticated, irresistibly charming expression of Bandol, with the depth to evolve gracefully over the next decade and beyond.
