A true master of Côte-Rôtie, Jean-Luc Jamet has quickly earned his place among the appellation’s greats. His talent was unmistakable from the very first vintage in 2013, where the class of his terroir came through with striking clarity, producing wines of thrilling precision and depth.

Made in tiny quantities, these wines offer Syrah at its most honest and expressive—refined, complete, and deeply satisfying. From the beginning, we recognized something special here, and didn’t hesitate to put our trust in this quietly outstanding estate.

Birthed on the prestigious terroir of La Landonne, the 2019 Red Les Terrasses Côte Rôtie is a great achievement. It opens on aromas of black cherry, olive and mocha, with a roasted edge. The tannins are smooth and the finish is incredibly elegant and refined. It is a great wine, both precise and intense, with strong flavors and a fresh and elegant style. Among the finest references of the appellation, wait a little wait for it to be fully opened. Rated 92+/100 by Parker.
