Wine:

Château Margaux possesses an extraordinary capacity to evolve. Over the years, it develops remarkable finesse, aromatic complexity and presence on the palate. This wine possesses the finesse, subtlety and charm of the great vintages, as well as the balance of proportions within a lesser density and depth. It is pleasant drinking today, like all well-balanced vintages, and its bouquet is fully developed.

Vinification:

Harvesting by hand, 18-24 months' ageing in new oak barrels.

Palate:

This wine is part of a private collection that has been stored in optimal temperature and hygrometry conditions. Each bottle was appraised by our Master Sommelier and has been very carefully handled by the entire Ventealapropriete team right up to its delivery. This bottle is rare and ephemeral, the result of a long, patient evolution. There can be no exchanges or returns once it has been opened or consumed. Enjoy your tasting!

Temperature:

Serve between 16-18°C. Due to the presence of a deposit, a decanting from one bottle to another may be necessary to further enhance the drinking enjoyment.

Food and wine pairing:

Red meats and mushrooms, grilled beef flank steaks, risotto with woodland mushrooms in a rich brown jus, black truffle dishes and a cheese platter that ideally includes some farmhouse Saint-Nectaire.

Cellar aging:

From now

For many wine lovers and enthusiasts, Château Margaux, with a majestic setting in the heart of the village of Margaux, is the finest property in the Bordeaux region. Its stately character is obvious from the moment you arrive and look out over the driveway that leads up to this Château with its monumental porch. The estate, with 82 hectares of red vines added to the 4 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc, has a unique vineyard. This property belonging to Corinne Mentzelopoulos was run by the late, talented Paul Pontallier. Since the 80s, the wines have constantly progressed, guaranteeing the wine lover a high-quality purchase. These are unique, deep wines, respected and appreciated by all.
