Wine:

The beautifully constituted 2015 Moulin de La Lagune still displays the same qualities of freshness and ripeness of Cabernet Sauvignon, all the more so in this ample, generous vintage. An already expressive wine, combining character and suppleness, which can be enjoyed now or over another 5 to 6 years. A fine meat dish in sauce or grilled will suit it perfectly.

Hand harvested, fermented in stainless steel vats, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (40% new).

Second wine of the Château.

Color:

Intense, dark ruby color.

Nose:

Notes of macerated red and black fruits, enhanced by a delicate touch of cedar wood.

Palate:

Powerful and elegant, with ample, generous flavors of fruit. Already expressive, this wine perfectly combines a high level of maturity, character and suppleness.

Temperature:

Decant an hour before serving, between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Lamb chops with fresh rosemary, duck with green pepper, beef ribs with Espelette pepper.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2025
