Wine:

La Chablisienne's Château Grenouilles Chablis Grand Cru White 2007 highlights the sharp acidity and luminous character resulting from the vintage. Coupled with this magnificent terroir, the wine takes on a huge dimension. Endless, balanced and blessed with exceptional aromatic tautness, the length on the palate is evidence of the scale of this wine. A bottle of reference Chablis!

Vinification:

Vinification: cold static settling before the start of fermentation. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in small casks or vat. Aging for a period of 20 months on the fine lees, in vat and in cask.

Color:

Green tints that animate the wine's pale yellow colour, catching the light and giving this wine an attractive sheen.

Nose:

On the nose, the wine is dominated by honey, vanilla and oriental flavours already indicative of a fine wine in the making

Palate:

On the palate, the wine appears heavily coated by fat, richness and power, but a mineral, acid constitution keeps it all fresh

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C

Food and wine pairing:

White meats in a sauce, crustaceans, sea food, etc

Cellar aging:

Enjoy up to and including 2020

The meticulous work of the wine makers associated under the La Chablisienne banner gives birth to wines that time continues to magnify. Coming from a fantastic mosaic of "climats", they exhibit pure mineral emotions. This winery was founded in 1923 by Abbot Balitran, then paster of Poinchy, to help wine producers who were unable to sell their wines. "La Chablisienne" has since become an indisputable force, with a presence in all the Chablis region's appellations, both Premier Cru and Grand Cru.
