Wine:

The 2023 Red Côtes Catalanes Aiglon is bursting with black fruits, hints of garrigue, and a touch of ash, all wrapped in a profile of great freshness. The palate captivates with its juicy, refreshing texture, featuring very fine, almost silky tannins. This is a wine of pure indulgence, perfect for enjoying with simple dishes like poultry or tender pork belly. Rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Fermentation in concrete vats and whole berries. Aged in concrete vats.

Color:

Cherry red with carmine-violets.

Nose:

Fresh and brimming with black fruit, the aromas are complex, with notes of garrigue herbs and a touch of spice.

Palate:

The first impression is one of pulpy, refreshing body, with delicate, velvety tannins and a delicious, delicate finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Roast poultry, barbecued pork belly, prime rib with rosemary and paprika.
