Wine:

Vinified gently as an easy-drinking wine without any oak, the 2022 Red Anjou BB delights with its fruit and freshness. This radiant Cabernet Franc features notes of dark fruits and graphite, supported by fine tannins. It's a juicy and precise red, already ready to drink in this beautiful, ripe vintage.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, totally de-stemmed, macerated for 5 days, fermented for 6 to 8 months in stainless steel vats.

Certified organic and biodynamic wine.

Color:

Good intensity of red.

Nose:

Black fruit flavors and graphite notes.

Palate:

A fruity wine with precise, crisp, juicy juice underlined by delicate tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Certainly one of the oldest vineyards in Anjou, Château de Bois-Brinçon has entered a new chapter with the arrival of Xavier Cailleau, who has revitalized the estate. Now focusing on organic and biodynamic farming, parcel selections, hand harvesting, and meticulous aging in barrels or tanks, the estate offers a serious and highly recommendable range of wines.
