Wine:

The 2022 Red Cahors Pur fruit du Causse lives up to its name! This Malbec brings out layered notes of blackcurrant, cherry, and cocoa, finishing with perfect ripeness and balance. Its full, rounded body is both graceful and refined—a delightful, easy-drinking wine that’s bound to be a crowd-pleaser. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Short traditional vinification in stainless steel and cement vats. Matured in vats only.

Deep ruby red.

Nose:

Aromas of blackcurrant, dark berries, and Morello cherry, accented by a hint of chocolate.

Palate:

Its ripe, full-bodied profile reveals a rich, rounded texture, delivering a balanced and enjoyable wine that’s easy to share.

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
