Franck Lihour, a true master of Jurançon, has made a name for himself at Domaine Castéra. Drawing inspiration from the precision of top Champagne houses, he combines expert pressing techniques with indigenous yeast fermentations and minimal sulfur. The wines are then aged in a blend of oak barrels and sandstone eggs, bringing out the finest expressions of Jurançon, marked by vibrant tension and clarity.

Lihour's expertise is built on years of experience at legendary estates like Clos Joliette, as well as time spent in Burgundy and at Château Suduiraut in Sauternes. His commitment to organic and biodynamic farming completes his meticulous approach, which is focused on precision, vineyard-specific practices, and purity of expression.
