Aged for a minimum of 3 years in toasted white oak barrels, The Tottori blended whisky reveals an authentic aromatic profile. Its naturally amber color, a result of its time in white oak barrels, is guaranteed free of caramel and non-chill filtered. The whisky presents notes of dried fruits, refined spices, and a great deal of elegance. The palate is floral, rich, and complex, finishing with woody flavors. This whisky is an excellent example of Japanese craftsmanship, perfect for discovering its unique world.

Elaboration:

Non-peated. Made from malt and grain whiskies from Scotland and Japan, aged a minimum of 3 years in toasted white oak casks. Non-chill-filtered, caramel-free.

Color:

Bright golden amber.

Nose:

Aromas of dried fruit mingled with notes of refined spices.

Palate:

Rich, complex and elegant with floral notes, the finish lingers on beautiful woody flavors.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Glencairn whisky glass.

Food and wine pairing:

As an aperitif, cocktail, digestif, on its own or for water lovers, in conjunction with their Whisky tasting, we suggest a still, neutral, fresh spring water.
The Japanese sometimes accompany their fish meals with whisky served as a mizuwari: the whisky is reduced by two-thirds water and a few ice cubes to give it an alcoholic strength equivalent to that of wine.

Want to explore or introduce your loved ones to the world of Japanese whisky? The Tottori is perfect for the occasion. Tottori pays homage to the province of the same name, home to the Matsui distillery since 1910. This blended whisky showcases over 100 years of expertise in the art of blending and aging spirits.
