Brilliant oenologist Peter Sisseck—affectionately known as Pingus—has transformed the Spanish wine landscape. In the heart of Ribera del Duero, he established Dominio de Pingus in the 1990s, recognizing the extraordinary potential of ancient Tempranillo vines.

With a commitment to organic and biodynamic practices, near-century-old vines, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, luxurious aging in oak foudres, prized terroirs, and native grape varieties, every element contributes to the singularity of this iconic wine, now regarded as a cru in its own right.
