The 2020 Red Beaune 1er Cru Les Sizies is a complete and age-worthy wine with a deliciously indulgent character. Its dense tannic structure remains juicy, fresh, and very elegant, highlighted by notes of dark and red fruits, spices, and chocolate. The solid core of the palate promises a long and beautiful evolution, with firm tannins that would benefit from decanting if enjoyed young. This is an impressive 1er Cru that stands out with distinction!

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, totally de-stemmed. Aged in oak barrels, 20% of which are new, for 14 months.

Color:

Bright red with good intensity.

Nose:

Complex aromatics oscillating between black and red fruit aromas, followed by chocolate and spicy notes.

Palate:

Full-bodied and delicious, with abundant notes of fruit, let yourself be charmed by this elegant, fresh and distinguished creation.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Roast rack of veal with chanterelles, poultry or guinea fowl with bacon and cabbage leaves, grilled and melting pork belly, sweetbreads and simple jus.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2030.
